International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8 March, commemorating women's fight for equality and liberation along with the women's rights movement. International Women's Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. Spurred by the universal female suffrage movement, International Women's Day originated from labor movements in Europe and North America during the early 20th century.

It’s Time to Talk Pay
You Are the Foundation of BT’s Success.

As BT opens this year’s pay negotiations, one thing is absolutely clear: your contribution is the engine behind BT’s performance. The company needs to hear your voice, and your expectations must shape the outcome of this pay review.

Every achievement BT celebrates has your work behind it.

BT’s leadership talks about “that winning team we all want to be part of.” But a winning team must be valued.

Current CPI 3.4% , current RPI 4.2% , food costs up, gas and electric up, car insurance up council tax up.

To stand still financially in 2026, workers need pay rises of around 4–5% minimum. Anything less means falling behind the cost of living.

Contact us at [email protected] informing us what you think we should be fighting for.

Tell your line managers what a fair pay looks like to you, raise it for discussion in team meetings, in offices, yards and other gathering points.

Your work has driven BT’s success. Your voice must drive this pay review.
