INSPIRE: Children’s Leaders Network

Inspire is open to all officers, children's team leaders, children's workers, toddler group teams and anyone who is enthusiastic about children's work.

📖WHAT:
Scripture has so much to say about our generational roles and responsibilities; children are to honour their parents (Ephesians 6), elders are to guide with wisdom (Proverbs 22) and father’s are instructed to encourage (Ephesians 6). But how do we put that into practice as a Church family?

At Inspire 2026, we will be joined by the Family Ministries team as we share thoughts, ideas and resources to help us live together and disciple one another as an INTERGENERATIONAL CHURCH.

The students and staff team at YSCA 2026 are celebrating a fab week and they’re inviting us to watch their celebrations tonight!

On Friday 21st August at 7pm, we will be inviting family and friends to join us for a LIVE Online Celebration of YSCA 2026.

Please share this poster with your family, friends and Church family as we would love as many people as possible to share in what an amazing week we’ve had at YSCA 2026.

The poster will be shared with all churches in the upcoming weekly Divisional newsletter as we know many Corps/Churches organise an YSCA Celebration watch party.

These are the questions that the Salvation Army is asking as we embark upon a project to make sure our children and young people's voices are more visible, more consistent and more impactful across our movement.

Yesterday, marked a pretty huge day in UK history as the government passed the ban on social media for under 16’s.

But what does the ban mean for us and our children?

Nigel Clarke (children’s TV presenter) gave this really helpful overview.

Today, the Yorkshire & Humber Children and Youth team are praying for the children, youth and families that this impacts as well as for the decisions made by the policy makers and social media companies in the days ahead 🙏
