My name is Joel.
This is my third year raising money and awareness for Cancer Research.
I have taken part in the Race for Life 2 times over the last 2 years and have raised £900 for the charity.
I will be taking part in the Race for Life again in 2025, my goal over the next year is to raise £1000 by arranging several fundraising activities including CUTTING MY HAIR (31/08/2024 Thank you to all who donated).
The reason why I chose Cancer Research:
I have chosen this charity because someone who I love very much was affected by cancer and thanks to the help of Cancer Research UK she is still here today. Without the scientific research they provide I could have lost her. I have lost other relatives to this disease and I am very, very thankful to still have my Nana with me.
