SeeAbility’s Eye Care Champions recently visited CENMAC’s Communication Works conference in Manchester and London, sharing the importance of good eye health for people with learning disabilities and autism.

It was also a great opportunity to learn more about emerging assistive technologies, which have the potential to help people communicate, express their choices, feel seen and live more independently.

We're pleased to hear the government has announced that people with disabilities will receive 24-hour free bus travel across England from next April.

This is a welcome step towards removing barriers that can prevent people from travelling early in the morning, including getting to work, while providing greater freedom to travel throughout the day.
