When Giban moved into his home with SeeAbility, he wanted a healthier and more active life.

With support from his team, he made changes to his diet, started exercising regularly, discovered a love of badminton, and built new friendships in his community.

Today, he no longer relies on insulin and is looking ahead to new goals, including studying cooking at college.

Giban's story shows what is possible when people with learning disabilities have access to the right support, opportunities and healthcare.

When Caroline was diagnosed with cancer, she was initially told there was no treatment option. Her support team refused to accept that answer.

They made sure Caroline had information she could understand, was involved in decisions about her health, and had her voice heard.

Today, Caroline is cancer-free.

Read Caroline's story and support the open letter calling for a new national strategy for people with learning disabilities.

Adventure belongs to everyone - yet too often, people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss are excluded from experiences others take for granted.

That’s why our upcoming Sahara Desert Trek is designed differently, with inclusion at its heart.

We welcome people with disabilities, people who would like additional support or adjustments, and people across a range of fitness levels.

We’ll work with you to help you take part safely, confidently, and in a way that feels right for you.

This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating the friendships that make volunteering so special. 🧡

When Andrew started volunteering with SeeAbility, he was looking for a meaningful way to spend his time. What he found was a friendship built on a shared love of football, plenty of laughs, and match days cheering on Wycombe Wanderers together.

For Scott, having someone who shares his passion for the game has made a real difference. For Andrew, volunteering has brought friendship, purpose and joy.

Their story is a wonderful reminder that volunteering can be as simple as spending time together and sharing the things you love.
