We're pleased to hear the government has announced that people with disabilities will receive 24-hour free bus travel across England from next April.

This is a welcome step towards removing barriers that can prevent people from travelling early in the morning, including getting to work, while providing greater freedom to travel throughout the day.

Dear Prime Minister Andy Burnham - as you work to reform social care, we’re highlighting the voices of people we support at SeeAbility.

Luke from our Listen Up! team has shared what good support looks like to him, and why having the right support is so important for people with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

We’d welcome the opportunity to work alongside you as you reform social care, ensuring that people with lived experience are heard and involved at every stage.
