CALL OUT At approximately 21:30 on Friday 20th March, search dog Steve and handler Ben had just arrived at their holiday cottage in Llandwrog when they were contacted by to assist in searching for a vulnerable missing male in the Bala area. Having picked up Navigator Kes Taylor en route, they made their way to the RV at Llangower and searched a route alongside a mountain rescue team. They then searched an area next to the Bala Fire Station and stood down at approximately 03:15. Search dog Chloe and handler Dave searched areas on Sat 21st and Sun 22nd March. The misper was located in Bala on Sunday 22nd March, confused but otherwise healthy.

A great example of how SARDA teams can travel and assist in searches, wherever they may be.

Congratulations to everyone involved 🥳

It takes an enormous amount of time and dedication for dog handlers to reached assessment stage - regardless of whether that’s initial, upgrade or regrade. What a huge achievement for all of those dogs and handlers!🤩

We are incredibly proud to have been a part of such a phenomenal weekend and grateful to all those involved in organising ☺️

Thank you as always to Go-Mann Adventures for helping keep our team’s skills in tip top condition!

Not only do we learn so much from him, it’s always a really enjoyable course too (even in some pretty wet and windy conditions 😅).

Thanks to the members of the public that have called in relation to the lady we had concerns for. She has been found safe and well owing to a sharp eyed member of the public. Many thanks once again.
