Step into the shadows of Launceston’s haunted past…
Join us for spine-tingling walks through mediaeval streets, hear chilling tales of long-lost souls, and eerie echoes of an ancient town’s darkest legends. Uncover ghostly secrets and historic tales that linger in the shadows of Cornwall's ancient capital of Launceston. Every Thursday evening in Summer, our expert guide will lead you on a spine-ch

illing journey through the town’s narrow lanes, ancient buildings, and historic hotspots. Along the way, you’ll hear tales of restless spirits, eerie encounters, and forgotten folklore, all rooted in Launceston’s rich, haunting, adn sometimes gruesome past. Meet at The Bell Inn, 1 Tower St, PL15 8BQ, every Thursday at 6pm in Summer.

£10 per person, cash only (while we work on our online ticketing page). Whether you're a history lover, thrill-seeker, or just curious about the stories that still echo through the streets, this walking tour of Launceston's historic town centre offers a fun and fascinating trip out. Please let us know if you have any questions or requests regarding access and we will try our best to accommodate. Dare to walk with us? These experiences are not for the faint-hearted. We also offer a family-friendly option, please get in touch for details on booking.

LAUNCESTON MUSIC FESTIVAL

Spring Sounds is heading into its third year in 2027, bringing an inclusive mix of folk, rock, classical, jazz, blues and more to the streets and venues in Launceston Town Centre. We’re looking for volunteers and new committee members to join our lovely festival organising team and help us plan the event’s future.

Join the team at Shirley’s Girlies on Exeter St, 5pm on Thursday 10th September. We’ll talk ideas for next year’s performers and activities, which is predominantly aimed at amateur local musicians, and assign some roles including stewards, marshals, graphics, socials, advertising, road closures, performer liaison and more. Everyone is welcome, whether you’d like to get properly involved in organising or just fancy lending a hand.

Just rock up on the day but if you want to drop us a message to let us know you’re coming that’ll be appreciated: either Messenger or email [email protected].

Come and join our awesome little festival organising team and help us fill Launceston with music in 2027! 🎺🎻🎸🥁
