Happy Father's Day..

To the dads whose children are beside them, and to the dads whose children live only in their hearts.

To the fathers who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, infant loss, or the loss of an older child.

To the dads who are longing to become fathers, those navigating infertility, and those waiting and hoping for the family they dream of.

To stepdads, adoptive dads, foster dads, grandads who step into fatherly roles, and the men who provide love, guidance, and support to children who need them.

To the fathers carrying grief, missing their child today, or facing Father's Day with an empty chair and a full heart.

Fatherhood is not measured by the time you had together, but by the love that remains.

Today, and every day, we remember all fathers and all children.

πŸ’™ Happy Father's Day πŸ’™

Largs Child Loss Awareness Planter πŸͺ΄

Today I popped down to view our groups planter we can kindly sponsor at Cairnies Quay Mooring Association. I have been told by the lovely Angus there is no "fixed rules" he may regret that πŸ˜‚ however we can paint it how we like, there's a beautiful bench right behind it too, which will make a lovely area to sit and remember our lost children.

A really amazing step for our group and something we can work on together πŸ’™πŸ©· if you have any suggestions painting wise, anything that reminds you of your little one you would like added please comment below and I will do my very bestest to make that happen 😊

Losing a child changes everything.
There’s no β€œright way” to cope with it, and no timeline for grief.
Some days you manage a little better.
Some days you don’t.
Both are normal.
One thing this group continues to show is that support really does matter. Being around people who understand without needing to explain yourself can make difficult days feel a little less isolating.

So today’s question is simple:
What’s something that helps you get through the hard days?

Could be a distraction, a routine, music, keeping busy, visiting a place, talking about them, or even just having a quiet hour to yourself.

You never know who might read your comment and feel understood because of it 🀍
