Vision Arcade provides free eye tests, glasses and eye drops to people living in underprivileged areas of Africa.

We also sponsor patients for minor eye surgeries including cataract surgeries. We also host educational seminars on eye health.

Douala is on our first location for 2026.

This year, we take our outreach to Douala, Cameroon, with a strong focus on access to eye care and community impact. Planning has begun, partnerships are coming together, and the goal is simple. Reach more people with care that improves daily life.

We are proud to work with Visufarma as part of this project, supporting eyedrop supply for those who need it most.

Vision loss rarely happens overnight. Most times, your eyes give quiet warning signs long before serious damage sets in, but many people ignore them until it’s too late.

Here are 7 slow eyesight killers to watch out for:

Frequent Blurry Vision
If things often look out of focus, it might be more than tired eyes. It could point to refractive errors, diabetes, or high blood pressure.

Increased Light Sensitivity
When normal light feels harsh or painful, your cornea or retina could be under stress.

Fading Colors
When colors seem dull or washed out, it may be early signs of cataracts or optic nerve damage.

Halos Around Lights
Seeing glowing rings at night can mean cataracts or high eye pressure from glaucoma.

Frequent Eye Strain or Headaches
