The official opening of the new ladies toilets will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 6th November. Olive Bell is coming to do the honours. Please do come along as we are using this opportunity to share and celebrate our recent successes with not only LEF but also the awards received from the Galbraith Trust, Awards for Ball and Walney Island funds. It would be great to see many people there so please do spread the word around.

Is there anyone who could possibly give our volunteers carrying out the building works a helping hand today? We are plaster boarding the ceiling today so really need some help as it is always useful to have helpers around for passing lifting etc.

The next few weeks are the final push to get the essential Builing works competed to enable us to get our new kitchen installed in good time before Christmas!!

Any voluntary help in this time would hugely appreciated

We’ve managed to have a really good push these last few days to get the ladies relocated to make way for our new kitchen. We are really pleased with the outcome. As with the new gents we have Re-used, upcycled reclaimed materials which gives a real charm. The original Victorian panelled have been kindly donated by Tom Charrier from fat properties. They where kindly delivered by Jack Baldwin builders. All for a good cause and very much appreciated
