A massive "Thank You" to everyone who made this year’s Produce Show at Wray Village Institute such a brilliant success!

To our Organising Team: Thank you for your hard work behind the scenes. Bringing an event like this together takes considerable planning, and your efforts truly paid off in creating a wonderful day for the community.

To all our Exhibitors: The show simply wouldn't exist without your creativity, passion, and enthusiasm. From impressive homegrown vegetables and beautiful floral displays to mouth-watering bakes and outstanding crafts, the high standard of entries was incredible.

To our Supporters & Visitors: Thank you to everyone who dropped in to help in setting up, who came to view or to attend the auction. After costs the auction and donations raised close to £400 to put towards trophy costs and next years show.

We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2027!

The 2026 Produce Show is underway in the Institute. Here are some photographs of the wonderful entries. Head down for viewing at 2.30pm. The auction of produce starts at 3pm. The money raised at the auction goes towards next year's show. Pop along and support this village tradition.

Wray Flower, Produce and Craft Show 2026

Wray Flower, Produce and Craft Show will take place on Saturday, 22nd August, 2026. Entry is open to residents of the Civil Parishes of Wray, Tatham and Roeburndale and to any child attending Wray School. Visitors to Wray will also be welcome to participate.

Take a look at the schedule (accessible via the google drive link below) and circle around any items you reckon you could put on show. Plenty to harvest in hedgerows and gardens at the moment and lots of time left to complete those artistic projects!

Remember, in the Junior section children can collect £2 when awarded a first prize certificate , £1 for second prize and 50p for third prize.

It costs nothing to enter and if you happen to be away on the 22nd then hand your items to a friend or neighbour to bring along on your behalf.

IMPORTANT:- There is an auction of produce after the show and the money raised will help fund next year’s show. Please lend your support to this long-running village tradition.

Has anyone taken the fold up chairs with the padded blue seats from the small meeting room in The Institute?

They’ve gone missing and we would rather like them back.

For the past few years we have had lovely hanging baskets
hanging outside the Institute. They are supplied by Greenfoot Garden Centre located in Wray. https://www.facebook.com/GreenfootGarden

They have been spectacular in the past and this years look likely to be just as good. Many thanks to Michelle at the garden centre, and to Ray Lowis for watering and feeding them (Ray won't tell us what he feeds them with!)
