📢 Our very own Prof Jasmine Fledderjohann, in collaboration with Prof Tineke Brunfaut, Dr Melis Cin, and Prof Christiaan Monden, contributed to a series of workshops at the University of the Free State, South Africa. These workshops were conducted for the South African Voices of Action in Social Sciences (SAVASS) project.

More about SAVASS:
The SAVASS programme, funded by the British Academy, offers career mentoring and supports the development of scholarly skills for early-career researchers in the Eastern Cape and Free State provinces. It is designed to help emerging scholars strengthen their academic voices while fostering lasting networks of peer support and collaboration. The initiative also aims to reimagine research communities by centring values of care, justice, and collaboration. The programme was established by Prof Jan McArthur of Lancaster University, in partnership with Prof Sybert Mutereko and Dr Asiphe Mxalisa of Rhodes University and Prof Melanie Walker of the University of the Free State.
