🟥 Chat with funders about opportunities for financial support for projects in your community

This event is perfect for Community Councils and Development Trusts who are looking to ensure their communities are prepared for and protected against future extreme weather events.

Tune into CamGlen Radio from 10am this morning to hear our Development Officer for Waste - Karen talking about this year's festival and some of the amazing events taking place! 🎉

Join Shelley on todays Shelley’s Community & Wellbeing Show at 10am when she will be joined by Karen from Climate Action Lanarkshire, who will be telling us about their hub, the work they do, and all the exciting plans for their upcoming festival.

The festival will run from the 7th of September to the 20th of September 2026, bringing people and communities together to learn, connect and take positive action for our environment.

We’ll be finding out more about the hub’s aims and activities, the support and opportunities they offer, what’s happening throughout the festival, and how local people can get involved. There will be plenty to look forward to, with events and activities designed to inspire, inform and encourage everyone to play their part in creating a more sustainable future.

Plus all your local Community News and some feel good tunes.

Connect with nature in Coatbridge 💚

Did you know there is a community orchard in Coatbridge?! 🍎 Join Coatbridge Community Orchard during for their Community Open Day.

This event is an opportunity to learn more about the project, hear about the volunteering work that takes place throughout the orchard and to get involved with your local community project. Come along and connect with nature by taking part in activities such as bulb planting and willow weaving. There will also be plenty of nature-based activities to get the little ones involved too.

You can find the orchard beside the bowling club. No booking is required, just head along on the day.
