I am sure you all remember our beautiful duo bulldogs Carl and Ellie, their mummy purchased them some gifts from us. We posted them yesterday ready for their 1st Christmas in their furever home.

We closed at the beginning of August, but did we really close?🤔🤭 we have had a few animals sneak in, as we are suckers for them 🐾
We have rehomed Beavis which leaves us with Butthead, we have the shy yet loving Minnie the cat who has a manx tail.
Felix the cat who is very handsome but very shy.
We have taken in some Guinea pigs and had another enquiry about taking in some more.
So as we are fast approaching Christmas 🎄 we thought we would try and raise some money for them.
These are items are limited as we didn't know how they would sell, so this could possibly turn into more shopping for us.

🌿 Looking for Grazing & Mowing Land – Long-Term Lease 🌿

Hi everyone! 👋

We’re a small local business with a big heart, caring for a range of rescue and retired animals while promoting sustainable farming, conservation, and animal wellbeing.

We’re currently looking for 30–100 acres of grazing and mowing land, ideally with:
🐴 A large barn or shed for hay and equipment storage
📜 A long-term agricultural tenancy or lease (we’d love something secure for the future)
🏡 Accommodation would be a bonus, but not essential

Our residents include a small herd of retired ex-racehorses and competition horses, a flock of ex-battery hens (whose eggs we sell locally 🥚), and sheep for grazing and rotation. We’re also strong advocates for rare and endangered breeds and natural conservation.

This year we’ve had a wonderful response to our new ventures — especially our quiet camping paddocks for reactive dogs, which were very well received. We’re hoping to grow steadily, keeping our approach small, friendly, and focused on animal welfare.

Alongside this, our therapy animals gently support a small number of local disabled people — something that happens quite naturally through the calm and connection our animals offer. 💚

🍑 “The Tale of Peach and Panda” 🐼

In a cozy nook where the moonlight falls,
Two tiny kittens make their calls.
One soft as sunrise, warm and sweet —
That’s little Peach, with dainty feet. 🍑

Her fur’s a glow of golden cream,
Her purr’s a hum, a half-sung dream.
She naps in sunbeams, calm and kind,
With gentle thoughts that fill her mind.

But then there’s Panda, bold and bright,
A whiskered blur of black and white. 🐼
She tumbles, leaps, and chases air,
With fearless heart and playful flair.

They’re yin and yang in kitten form,
Two fuzzy souls who keep each other warm.
When thunder booms or shadows creep,
Panda guards while Peach will sleep.

And when the world is calm once more,
They curl together, softly snore.
Two tiny hearts that beat in rhyme —
Best friends forever, for all of time. 💞

Peach and Panda are looking for their forever homes 🏡 both 9.5 weeks old.
They are shy currently but they are being handled each day, the will require a home/s with patience and preferably with older children 10 plus.

We disappeared for a while. However, we would like to update you all on two things.
1) Tank the neglected Frenchie, was immediately adopted by his foster parents. He has fully recovered and you wouldnt believe it was the same dog 🐕🐾
2) To all of you beautiful people who donated money towards the celebration of Kayzie's life 10/10/25 we would like to say Thank you 💜 She definitely had an amazing send off. With permission from her family we would like to share her day, without you it wouldnt have been possible x

We personally don't use collars for this reason 💔😭

Please do not ever use collars that are not quick release……

We were contacted by some kind residents who had a cat visiting their garden who was timid and starving. In addition to being very hungry she had her front leg through a flea type collar.

She went in the trap tonight and when we got her out we could see the severity of what the collar had done!

It was totally embedded with flesh growing over the top, giving the effect that the collar was threaded through her neck!

The smell was horrific…..we cannot imagine the pain…..

We took her straight to the emergency vets and after some strong pain relief the collar was removed.

She will need ongoing vet care to help her heal and has been released into our care.

She isn’t microchipped and we will go back to the area to see if we can establish where she is from, but for now our priority is her welfare and treatment.

She is very scared, is on pain relief and antibiotics and we are very grateful to the nurses and vet who saw her straight away.

It’s now 23.18, another long day but this makes it worth it!!

It really is just when you think you have seen it all!!
