This wonderful lodge was established just after the First World War in 1920.

The Lodge meets at The Masonic Hall, York Place, Knaresborough HG5 0AA in the province of Yorkshire, West Riding.

Another fantastic day at the 60th Great Knaresborough Bed Race and a MASSIVE thank you to all the Brethren from the Knaresborough Priory, Forest of Knaresborough, Spa, Harrogate & Claro 1001, Tectonic and Doric Lodges who gave up their day to help marshall ‘Masons Corner’ (a difficult part of the course to look after) and keep everyone safe.
We hope everyone enjoyed the day and look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Ladies night 2026.
30th May was W.Bro Andy Warren and his Lady, Emma’s big night.
The Knaresbrough Priory Lodge Ladies night, held at
Harrogate Masonic Hall .
Chef Chris Durrant laid on a superb 3 course meal for the 110 guests and this was followed with the usual toasts.
Then we danced the night away listening to Simply ABBA.
A fantastic ABBA tribute act.
Big thanks to Richard & Cath and Mike from the lodge for helping set up.
And W Bro Rick Lawson for the stage and sound set up. (FTAV)

Today 4 members of Knaresborough Priory Lodge , the WM, W Bro Stone, w Bro Bickerdike and Bro Seed were part of the Yorkshire West Ridings clay pigeon shooting team. Who were part of the War of the Roses team. The white rose of Yorkshire and the red rose of Lancashire.
After a great mornings shooting on some great and testing targets at the Coniston Shooting Ground.
With W Bro Warren and Bickerdike coming in the top 6 scores, but being narrowly beaten by Lancashire.
With the new Priory TLC teddy along for the day, a great day out.
This is open to all masons in our province and is great fun, so keep an eye open for the next one and come along and have a laugh.

Last night the Master & IPM headed over to the far west of the province to Barnoldswick and The West Craven lodge 7354 to see Bro Ashley put in the chair of King Solomon.

Last night saw the WM and the officers for the year, conduct their first ceremony, and bring Bro Craven into this wonderful order and Knaresborough Priory Lodge 4171 in particular.
A great night in the temple and a better one at the festive board, all in the company of 22 visitors.

W Bro Paul Hornby of Ripon & De Gray . With two brothers coming up from London to see their first initiation ceremony since their own.
Also to W Bro Alan Doyle from the Widows Sons - Ridings Chapter who is becoming a regular.
Thank you to all our visitors for your support and we will be doing it all again next month, with another initiation. Visitors will be made most welcome in making his night that will be one to remember.

Last night our WM, W Bro Andy Warren and brethren of Knaresborough Priory Lodge , were part of the 26 visitors to Harlow lodge 4404 at their installation evening.

W Bro Gegg stepped aside as WM to allow the SW, Bro Rhodes Jnr to be installed as Worshipful Master by his father (and Brother!), W Bro Rhodes Snr.

Our Worshipful Master was joined by two other visiting WMs, from the local circle, W Bro Richard Stewart of Lascelles Lodge, Wetherby, and
W Bro Gary Payne of the Spa lodge 7609

The meeting was attended by a plethora of Yorkshire West Riding Freemasons and Provincial Officers, led by W Bro Malcolm Whiteley, Assistant Provincial Grand Master (Area 5).

After the meeting, all retired to the ballroom for a celebratory Festive Board of Onion Soup, Roast Beef, Ginger Pudding,
