Despite the weather, 42 Beavers/Cubs/Scouts/Explorers braved the traditional coastal walk to Kinghorn.

Wednesday 1st July: Group end of term hike - coastal path to Kinghorn and back.

All sections meet at Seafield car park for a prompt 6:00pm start.

Pick up is at 8:00pm at Seafield car park.

It may well be raining (cross your fingers for us but it is forecast) - we will still be hiking. Please bring a suitable waterproof, water (in a rucksack!) and wear suitable footwear.

Parents holding a valid PVG are welcome to walk with us.

Finally the lost property bag has been found and will be available at the start and end of the hike - please see Sam on the night if you have something to claim.

After successfully putting away the tents from camp after they dried out (the weather was nice but the ground was very wet), the Cubs headed outside for a game of rounders.

We ended the term by awarding badges - there are still some with just a couple of requirements to tick off that we will get to next term but well done for all awarded tonight.

And we squeezed in a round of wink murder just at the end.

Next week we’ll be doing the group hike to Kinghorn, details to follow.

Young Beavers met the Old Kirk tonight.

We had a great evening, thanks to Kathleen, Norman and Rosemary from the Old Kirk who respectively gave us a tour of the bell tower, gave an organ masterclass (with chances for the Beavers and Boomer to get a shot) and guided us round the graveyard.

Term finishes next week with a hike from Seafield car park to Kinghorn (and back)
