✨ DBB Birmingham 2025 ✨
Our flagship event and our first ever location for Diwali Basket Brigade! 💛
This year, our amazing DBB Birmingham team packed over 2,000 food hampers, thanks to the dedication of 220+ incredible volunteers. These hampers were distributed to local charities and organisations supporting families in need, including (Ronald McDonald House), HAOS, .charity (St Basils), WHG, Kids Out, Birmingham City Mission & Hope Food North Birmingham.
A huge thank you to our inspiring guest speakers Jean Templeton, CEO of St Basils, Connie Jennings from WHG, and the Mayor of the West Midlands, Richard Parker for joining us and sharing words of encouragement.
At DBB, we’re proud to welcome volunteers of all ages. From our youngest helpers to our oldest supporters, Rameshbhai (80 years old!), who has never missed a DBB event and Prabhudasbhai at a magical 97 years old!
Your energy and dedication truly embody the spirit of giving. 🙏🏼
The day was filled with smiles, teamwork, and joy and even featured a live feed with DBB London happening at the same time! The atmosphere was electric and full of positivity as we came together to make a difference. 🌟
💛 A Special Thank You*
We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make DBB 2025 such a success! 🌟

A message from our Event Lead & Founder, Deepak Parekh:
“As we continue to grow each year, our purpose remains the same - to bring light and hope where it’s needed most.
In 2025, we reached a record number of hampers, thanks to the unwavering support of our volunteers and donors. Each hamper is more than just food, it’s a message of care, kindness, and community, which lies at the heart of Diwali.
No one should go hungry, and through this initiative, we’re showing that we’re truly stronger together.” 💫
