Thanks to Dancin' Tots and Onika Venus Trio for the wonderful sunny vibes in the park yesterday. Nicola Davis Crafts was also there, giving people the opportunity to help paint the first of the flags for the park, doesn't it look fabulous!

Next up at Music in the Park will be local musician Tina Maynard followed by the Bristol Show Choir, Sunday June 28th 3-5pm.

There are still some spaces left on the weekly Explorer Club sessions in the park. These are free, nature-based sessions run by Mud Pie Explorers, with activities led by the interests of the group but including nature art, den-building, team games, tree safaris and much more! Sessions run on Thursday afternoons after school and are open to 7-13 year olds.

Lots more coming up in Kingswood Park over the next ten days!

🦋On Weds 10th June (weather permitting!) we'll be holding an informal, friendly social in the park for anyone interested in learning more about the Friends group. 4.30pm in the Community Growing Area.

🌳On Thursday 11th June at 4 and 4.45pm, Ed Drewitt, naturalist and wildlife detective will be leading family friendly tree walks in Kingswood Park to coincide with the Festival of Nature. Come along and learn about the amazing trees in the park and the wildlife that depends upon them. All welcome, meet at the main gates.

🪇On Sunday 14th June we'll have Dancin' Tots with their family friendly disco at 1pm followed by Onika Venus Trio at 3pm, expect to hear shades of old school reggae, RnB, pop, and funk - as well as a few surprises! Should be a lovely afternoon!

🥪On Thursday 18th June, between 3 & 6pm, together with Kingswood Town Council we'll be holding a community picnic in the park. Bring along a picnic, your friends and family and we'll provide some games and activities.

We're pleased to share that we have contracted Nicola Davis Crafts to create 5 colourful silk flags celebrating the rich heritage of Kingswood Park. These flags will be displayed in the park at community events, they're going to look fab!
