Deja Vu…only better!

Exactly 1 year since our very first choir competition, we can share that we were awarded second place in our category: Adult Mixed Vocal Ensemble at the Richmond upon Thames Performing Arts Festival 2026.

We sang 2 pop classics: Running up that hill and Toxic.

So many brilliant performances that evening from
(winners: Ladies Vocal Ensemble)
The Royal Harmonics (winners: Male Vocal Ensemble)
Korean Hummingbirds Choir (winners: Mixed Vocal Ensemble)
Chase Bridge Community Choir
Teddingtones

Our performance was scored using the BIFF framework and we received Honours: An excellent performance demonstrating fluent technical and artistic skills with emerging individuality!

It was also amazing to hear praise for Jake Alexander - Composer, Arranger, Choir Leader arrangements. We really are lucky to have you Jake!

Also a huge thank you to Ben Costello the evening’s adjudicator. We’re grateful to have such constructive and knowledgeable feedback and to learn from you about each choir’s performance in your adjudication.

Last night we performed at our first ever Choir Competition

…and we placed 3rd with honours (87 points)…

An excellent experience for our singers with one of our songs having its debut performance!

The spirit of our little group is so strong, no one shied away from the challenge of an adjudicated performance and worked hard to present our best-selves.

Some of our singers couldn’t be with us so hopefully the next one will have our full complement.

A huge thanks to Jake Alexander - Composer, Arranger, Choir Leader who used his amazing arrangements and experience to teach, guide and support us.
