🎉 Today is Staywell's 80th birthday!

For 80 years, local people have come together through Staywell to support one another, build friendships, tackle loneliness and help people live well.

From our beginnings in 1946 as the Malden and Coombe Old People's Welfare Association to the community charity we are today, one thing has never changed: people helping people.

Thank you to the volunteers, staff, trustees, partners, supporters and local residents who have been part of our story over the last eight decades. We simply wouldn't be here without you.

On this day in 1946, a group of local people came together with a simple but powerful belief: that older people in our community deserved support, companionship, dignity and respect. Eighty years later, that spirit continues to guide everything we do.

Staywell is seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and serve nutritious lunches for older people attending our friendly day centre in New Malden.

These angels from &Q in New Malden came to clear the jungle at the back of Raleigh House today and built us a new shed for storing our outdoor furniture and gardening supplies. Thank you sooo much - it looks AMAZING!
