📣 Volunteer Opportunity: Grant & Impact Report Writer – BRITE Box

Help us secure funding and showcase the life-changing impact of BRITE Box, our award-winning programme supporting thousands of families with healthy food and wellbeing each week.

We’re looking for someone with strong writing, research or grant writing skills to help prepare funding applications and impact reports. Flexible commitment of 3–6 hours per week (term-time only is absolutely fine).

Make a real difference while gaining experience in fundraising, evaluation and social impact.

Thank you to the Wimbledon Foundation! 🎾

A huge thank you to the Wimbledon Foundation for generously providing complimentary tickets to The Championships 2026, giving us the opportunity to celebrate some of our wonderful BRITE Box volunteers.

It was such a special opportunity to recognise and celebrate the people who give their time, energy and care to make BRITE Box happen each week. Our volunteers are at the heart of the project, helping us support children and families to cook healthy, affordable meals together at home.

We are incredibly grateful to the Wimbledon Foundation for their ongoing support, which helps make BRITE Box possible and enables us to continue serving families in our local communities.

Thank you for championing community, volunteering and local impact. 🎾💚

Yesterday, we were so pleased to welcome some wonderful pupils from Spring School, a special education school in Kingston, to volunteer at our Kingston Hub for the very first time! 💚

Spring School joined the BRITE Box programme this year, and some of their families also receive BRITE Boxes. It was fantastic to see the pupils getting involved with such enthusiasm, energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles.

We’re delighted that they will now be joining us every week through to the end of this term, and we look forward to continuing our partnership next academic year, thanks to the amazing support of Public Health at the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Thank you for all your hard work and we hope you enjoyed your first visit as much as we did! ✨

Baby BRITE Box deliveries are out! 🥕🍎
We delivered Baby BRITE Boxes filled with simple weaning recipes and fresh ingredients to support parents as they introduce new foods to their little ones.

We know weaning can feel overwhelming, so these boxes are designed to make things a bit easier with practical ideas, healthy options, and support for families every step of the way. 👶💛.

We’re so excited to share that research exploring the impact of BRITE Box for children with autism has just been published: https://lnkd.in/emevR4v5

This study grew out of our first collaboration with Blossom House School Limited, a partnership that continues today and opened the door to working with other specialist schools. What started as an unexpected discovery has helped shape the direction of BRITE Box and strengthened our focus on supporting children and families in SEN settings.

Huge thanks and congratulations to our wonderful team of researchers Elisa Back, Sarah Sumpter, Hilda Mulrooney, Ronald Ranta who led this work and helped evidence the real impact of BRITE Box in schools and homes. 💛
With recent support from the Wimbledon Foundation, we’re proud of how far this work has come, and even more excited about where it’s heading next!
