Our Culture Vultures group has a interesting trip today to a Contemporary Textile exhibition at Denbies Vineyard near Dorking! CQ hosted the exhibition ‘Freedom of Expression’ and displayed some very impressive work by its members! CQ is an inspiring organisation for textile art enthusiasts! And Denbies proved to be a great display venue - oh yes, and a rather nice cafe!

Lovely evening last night making wreaths - courtesy of an invitation from our friends across the water: ! Very ably guided by the talented Melanie Bennett florist, headhunter & Tawny Owl! She brought loads of greenery & decorations and schooled us in the art of wreath making - to great effect! Here I am by my front door and a close up of my handiwork!
