Beautiful Peaches went for spay yesterday so she is now safe from attacks and pregnancy 😻. She needs a home without other cats as she's very distrustful of them but she's very affectionate and loves attention ❤️
We are concerned about the number of kittens that get taken for Christmas gifts and we have set a time limit to prevent our contributing to it.
These are sentient beings and they don't come in a ribbon tied box! It's a terrible time to introduce an animal as there's usually a lot more noise and excitement at Christmas and kittens need peace and calm to settle.
It does mean the foster carers will probably spend most of their Christmas looking after the cats but we would all prefer them to go to a home to become part of the family and not because people can't think of something else.
If you're still wanting a kitten around that time: you could buy all of the equipment as a gift and then apply to adopt in the New Year. Cat trees don't get hurt if you return them but kittens can be traumatised 😿

Millie has just arrived in Rescue after her owner requested we take her. She hasn't gelled with their family but she appears to be a sweet young thing. She has been living with children and that doesn't always work out, especially if the children haven't been taught how to treat a kitten 😿.

The 10 shelters ordered last week have arrived 😁. They will soon be on the streets and saving lives 😻. We are incredibly grateful to our fabulous supporter for making this, and so much more, possible 🤩🤩
WARNING: We were made aware of a page offering free kittens earlier! We investigated them and they are clearly a scam 😒. Selling kittens, unless a licensed dealer, is illegal. Just because people claim the kittens are free doesn't mean there isn't a price to pay 😿

We would like to thank Elaine Ward for her kindness donation. We are low on stock so the items were very gratefully received 😻
Tilly is in recovery for her chest infection and ear mites and we have a few more going to new homes tomorrow so we're hoping to trap a few more today that we have been hoping to help. We took 2 kittens in last night but they're quite a bit bigger than we expected 😹. Neutering appointments will have to be made soon 🫣. There's 2 litters where we are trapping today but we have VERY limited space so it's unlikely we can help both. The team always does their best though 🤩
