All that hard work and effort, raising vital funds for charities and we get stung like that. FFS

Con artists.

Even more disgusting is that escalation process, imagine the stress and worry if you couldn’t afford the £90 initially.

What an unforgettable, life‑changing experience for both myself and Rob running from Hull to London in a weekend that can only be described as absolutely brutal. The heat was relentless, every mile felt heavier than the last, and there were moments where both of us were hanging on by the thinnest thread. But we never let go of each other. Step after step, we checked in, supported, encouraged, and pushed one another forward. Rob took charge of the pacing, I handled the navigation, and together we kept our focus locked on the goal.
A massive shoutout to Stevie L, who jumped in and battled through around 40 miles with us. That lift mentally and physically came at exactly the moment we needed it most.
To everyone who came out to run sections with us, who showed up at checkpoints, who cheered, encouraged, or simply stood there to remind us we weren’t alone, thank you. Those moments of connection kept our spirits alive.
And to our support crews… there are no words strong enough. You were the backbone of this entire challenge. Always ready, always steady, always there to deal with us in every possible condition. You were instrumental in us completing all 196 miles, and we’ll never forget it.
Finally, a huge thank you to all our sponsors and business supporters. Your generosity, belief, and backing helped us raise over £4,500, and the total is still rising. Every pound means something. Every donation pushed us further. You’ve helped turn a wild idea into something meaningful, and we’re incredibly grateful.
Huge shout out to our photographer: Alex Irwin

I’d like to take the time to thank Rob for sharing this incredible journey with me over the last few months. Together we’ve created memories that will last a lifetime, but more importantly we’ve helped raise awareness and funds for Campaign Against Living Miserably, and the total is still growing.

From the laughs to the low moments, the miles, the pain, and the madness, it’s been one hell of an experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take it on with.

Now it’s time to recover, build my fitness back up, and look ahead to the next challenge… because sitting still has never really been my thing. 👊🏼

5 charities I have helped a little so far over three different challenges ❤️

Pushing the body to the absolute limits, 34’ heat 196 miles. 👊🏼

Few more pictures of the struggles along the way. By this point we were 84 mile plus into our challenge. Battling fatigue, nausea, sickness, heat stroke. Just to name a few problems. But we dug deep and kept going.
