Chatterbox the Norwich Talking News Audio recordings of Norwich-based newspapers and magazines for people who are blind or vision impaired Thank you for your support.

Chatterbox the Norwich Talking Newspaper, is produced and distributed weekly to approximately 400 blind and partially sighted listeners. The 60 to 90 minute audio recording contains items of local news taken from the Evening News and is supplied on a USB memory stick. The service is entirely free and delivered both ways, without charge, by Royal Mail. Where listeners are unable to provide their ow

n means of playing the recording, Chatterbox supply, on free loan, a USB player. Chatterbox is also now available on Alexa and as a podcast. We can provide an Amazon Echo Dot if required and in some cases help with the setup. In addition to local news, there are general interest features and letters. Listeners also receive a monthly recording of a selection of features from EDP Norfolk Magazine, our own monthly lifestyle production Just Talk and a quarterly magazine recording of Chataround interviews. Everyone is welcome to follow our page and we want to hear from you. However to ensure our page remains a safe and welcome space for all, we reserve the right to remove comments that are offensive or abusive towards others. Chatterbox Chataround this quarter meets Eddie Elmhirst to talk about ITV and John to talk about allotments and many others.
Chatterbox is the Talking Newspaper for Norwich, UK and provides weekly news for vision impaired people and anyone wanting to hear all about it! We also create a variety of periodical magazines, of which Chataround is one.

The service is entirely FREE, and includes postage and loan equipment. Chatterbox is a registered charity whose helpers are all volunteers, and funded through local fundraising and donations.
