🍂 HELLO, SEPTEMBER 🍂

A new month. A change of season. Crisp mornings, cosy nights and, for some of us… pumpkin spice latte season is officially here ☕️

PSL season may be starting… but PTL season is ALWAYS! 🙌🏼

Praise the Lord in every season. In the changing, the waiting, the new beginnings and the ordinary everyday moments.

And talking of new beginnings… September is an exciting month for KCC! 👀✨

🌿 9th September — our advert for our new Lead Pastor closes. Please keep praying with us as we look ahead to this next chapter in the life of our church. We’re excited about what God has in store!

🧵 19th September — our ladies conference, Hidden Threads, is happening! A day to gather, worship, connect and discover more of the threads God is weaving through our lives. 🤍

So whether September brings you something completely new, a fresh start, or simply another ordinary month — remember, God is in every season.

Here’s to September! 🍂✨

What a Sunday! 💛 Today we’ve been thinking about the curtain and the cross, and all that Jesus has made possible for us.

A little reminder that our very own Jimmy Fulton is currently cycling an incredible 900 miles to raise money for Glasgow Children's Hospital, in honour of his superstar son, Munro. 🚴‍♂️💙

The JustGiving link is over on Naomi’s page, and we’ll share it on our stories too.

You’re smashing it, James! 👏 What an incredible way to support such an important cause and make a difference for families like Munro’s. 💙

We often post on here saying, “We hope you’ve had a great week.”

And for some of you, you have. ❤️
But for some of you, this week may have been really hard. And that’s okay too.

As a church family, we’re with you.

Following the awful tragedy at Big Church Festival this week, we’re particularly mindful of those returning home under very different circumstances than they had planned. We’re praying for everyone affected, and especially for the families and loved ones who are facing unimaginable pain and loss.

So tomorrow, whatever kind of week you’ve had, why not come and join us at KCC?

We’ll worship together.
We’ll pray.
We’ll stand with one another.
And we’ll hear from Pastor Wade as he shares what God has laid on his heart for us this week.

Because whatever this week has looked like, you don’t have to face it alone.
