Next week we have our Sea Of Support Evening Meeting with Hope UK (Adults only) Please do let us know if you can make it so we can ensure that HopeUK bring enough resources.

We know this is a difficult conversation or some may think they don't need to worry about it, but unfortunately many Neurodiverse children, young people and adults are a target so it is better to be clued up and prepared. Or if you are trying to navigate this journey then hopefully you can get the support you need. There is no judgement it is a safe space.

We also have SSS available for 1:1 appointments and refreshments will be available as will our Sensory stall and lending library. They may also be time for a presentation of SENDing Out an S.O.S | Navigating your journey with Sea of Support.

What a brilliant morning we had yesterday, being able to hold events like this for our members and their families makes more of a difference than you know.

This week there are two opportunities to see us.

Monday we have our weekly After - School Club in collaboration with Family Hub Kettering where hopefully our S.T.E.A.M craft will involve baking powder and cranberry juice and secret pictures 🤔what could it be? you'll have to pop by 3.45 - 4.45pm at Kettering Family Hubs North Northants to find out 🙂 for ages 5-11 years (Parents are to stay and siblings are welcome.)

Wednesday is our monthly Coffee Morning 9.30-11.30 at Kettering Eden Centre, Entrance is round the back of Eden Street, children are welcome. so come by and have a chat, laugh, cry, rant or just be in the company of others. I am sure I can talk enough to fill the room 🤣

🏃‍♀️As you know some of our Making Waves members are lacing up to fundraise for new youth club equipment and maybe, just maybe, score a sweet Day Trip next year 🚌!

Their challenge is on to see how far they can run/walk throughout October. However at least one of our members partaking in this challenge has pledged to run 100 miles in October. Yes you read that right 💯 miles. That is amazing and we couldn't be prouder of them for doing this. 💫

The 'ber months are in full swing now as we enter in to October which some relate to it as autumn leaves falling, collecting conkers and cozy evenings but other relate to to the spooky season, however you relate just know your S.O.S team have got your back and have plenty planned for the month. So prepare yourselves for some cool announcements as we list what is on in October.

Friday 2nd Oct - Making Waves is on at a NEW time of 6.30-8pm and with the new addition of a POOL Table (yes you read that right) 🎱 This group is for 11-25 year olds held at Kettering
Family Hubs North Northants

Saturday 3rd Oct - We are joined by
Lucy.flourishkids for our Halloween Themed workshop exclusively for our members and their family which is FULLY BOOKED. 🧑‍🍳

Monday 5th Oct - We have our weekly After-School Club in Collaboration with Family Hub 3.45-4.45pm for ages 5-11 years (Siblings are welcome and parents are to stay) this is at Kettering

Wednesday 7th Oct - We have our Tea/Coffee Morning 9.30-11.30am at Eden Centre Kettering Entry is round the back off Eden Street children are welcome. So come by and just share the space with those who understand. Have a laugh or have a rant, ask advice or just enjoy the company what ever you need we are there for you. 🍵

Kingsley Special Academy and we will be joined by Hope UK So please do come by and get some very useful advice on how you can support your child/ren they will also hand out some resources to those who attend so if you can come please do let us know so they can bring enough. At the end we are also looking to present our SENDing Out An S.O.S | Navigating your SEND journey. If that's not enough we also have SSS available for 1:1 support as well. 🤝

Friday 16th Oct - We have our Rothwell Pop Up at
Rothwell Community Library 1-2.15pm, children again are welcome so please do pop by for an informal chat. 🗣️ Then in the evening we have Making Waves for 11-25 year olds at 6.30-8pm at Kettering Family Hubs North Northants

Sunday 18th Oct - We have both Making Waves for 11-25 year olds and Shiny's Te****le Tribe for 0-11 year olds at Kettering

Wednesday 28th Oct - We have our Autumn Express Yourself Day 11am-2pm at crescents community centre please do come by and have some fun, there will be music, crafts, bouncy castle, sensory area, tuck shop and our sensory stall details are on the attached poster.
