A quick update from Operation On The Way to Athens HQ.

After a brief double counting mix up, we are back on track with the totals and virtually cruising into Saint-Quentin this afternoon. Well done for the effort cyclists!

Okay, so this might take us a little longer than Sunday, but we are not going to give up, especially now some of us have realised we really like cycling, which is what is all about 🚲❀️

Quite a shift from Geez from Aylesham Boxing Club - two hours on our bike today 🚲πŸ”₯

He was reminiscing about group bike rides from Aylesham to Ardres back in the day - he went whizzing past there virtually.

Big thanks too to Elliott Allen from Dover District Council, PC Jon Bowler and the wonderful artists from Aylesham Primary School.

The rain showers might have made Pat Sutcliffe's Cycling UK Big Bike Revival sessions a little less appealing, but they will return if you fancy getting back in the saddle and would like to boost your confidence before heading out on the road. Keep your eyes out for that. Cheers Pat!

For the rest of at Aylesham Community Trust, we have coffee shop menu treats, the bike-themed book share and the exercise bike is calling (it might take us the summer to get to Athens but let's see how we go! 😁). If you have been on a bike in the gym or out and about, please drop us your mileage to add to our community total 😘

And then Friday is the School's Out Friday Feast Greek Night 4.30-7.30pm πŸ˜‹
