SEVEN YEARS AGO today we took a 20s plenty petition to a local council government meeting at Bourne Hall to start trying to make Ewell nicer and safer to walk round... We had hundreds of signatures.
It makes you wonder what actually could become a reality in the borough before sensible, cheap and non-contentious speed restrictions... Which have at least now been promised but are still apparently very very difficult to make real...
