This Volunteers' Week, we'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible Heartstart Kempsey volunteers who run our FREE CPR training sessions in the community of Kempsey.

Our team is made up of ordinary people who have a passion for helping local residents gain the confidence and knowledge to respond in a cardiac arrest emergency ❤️🚨

Did you know that just a 90 minutes of your time could help us train more people, and ultimately help save lives?

We're always looking for enthusiastic, community-minded people to join our growing team. No medical background is required — just a willingness to learn and make a difference.

If you've ever thought about volunteering and would like to be part of something truly rewarding, we'd love to hear from you.

Together, we can create a community where more people know CPR, more people can use a defibrillator, and more lives can be saved. 🚑

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Heartstart Kempsey session — you were all amazing! 🎉

By the end of the evening, everyone felt more confident in recognising the signs of cardiac arrest, delivering effective CPR, and using a defibrillator, all while having plenty of fun along the way.

We have spaces available on our FREE CPR training sessions on:

These friendly and informative sessions start at 7pm and are open to everyone (aged 10 and over) — no previous experience needed. Learning CPR is a simple skill that could make a huge difference to someone in an emergency.

THANK YOU very much to you all for attending tonight’s Heartstart Kempsey training session you were all fab! Everyone left with smiles on their faces feeling more confident with how to recognise when somebody is in cardiac arrest, complete effective CPR and how to use a defibrillator.
