What an incredible young man! 👏🇬🇧

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to young Oliver for his absolutely amazing achievement of walking 30 miles to raise funds for Veterans for Veterans in Care! 🚶‍♂️💪

Oliver, we are so incredibly proud of you, and words cannot express just how grateful we are for what you’ve done.

At such a young age, you’ve shown kindness, determination and a heart of gold. You’ve gone above and beyond to help veterans who have already given so much for our country.

Oliver, you are not just our hero – you are a hero to our Forgotten Army! 🇬🇧❤️

Today Ollie will complete his amazing walk for Veterans for Veterans in Care. Our team will be there to see him across the finishing line, supported by members of our Little Hands, Big Heart club.

A heartfelt thank you to the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of South Tyneside, Stan and Dawn Whildhirt, for their wonderful visit to Cheviot Court, where we came together to celebrate the service of the veterans in their care. ❤️

The Mayor and Mayoress kindly presented our veterans with badges recognising their service, including a Land Army badge for the lovely Nancy. Merchant Navy service was also celebrated with an anchor badge. These thoughtful gifts made the day extra special.

Thank you to everyone at Cheviot Court for the wonderful work you do, and to our amazing volunteers who joined us on the day.

A special shout-out to Hugh and Mark, who regularly visit Cheviot Court and bring a smile to our veterans’ faces. Your kindness and friendship mean so much.
