Welcome everyone.
Observing yourself, knowing your body and knowing your mind.
The mind is wholesome or unwholesome? Is it soft and gentle?
Keep observing it then you will see the change.
Sometimes it is good, sometimes not. It is impermanent.
This is a person who is practicing.
We have to practice otherwise we will be in the cycle of birth and death endlessly. Suffering will never end.
We need to practice and do it often until it becomes a habit.
Keep reciting…. knowing, understanding, giving kindness and letting go.
Understand others and understand ourselves.
Then give kindness and let it go.
The mind will be comfortable as a result.
If you don't practice, the mind will sink in darkness and be unwholesome.
The sentient beings are bound by karma.
If we are those who practice, who do not follow their desires and do it often, it will be easy.
Like we never give up (to defilements).
The mind will be strong, patient and be able to endure so that we will be in comfort.
Those who have wisdom will not commit a sin,
and especially will not have negative thoughts towards others.
When we follow a negative thought,
our speech and actions will not be good.
If we practice well, we can handle anything that comes to disturb.
The four foundations of mindfulness are the main path of practicing.
When feeling sleepy, acknowledge it.
Then try to find a way to get rid of it, it will be a way.
If we never resist the sleepiness,
are willing to be sleepy, it is called Nunthi.
Feeling pleased to be in sleepiness that is to submit to defilement.
We must acknowledge it.
External sense. Eyes see form, ears hear sound, nose smells odour, tongue senses a taste and the body touches.
Internal sense; thoughts or emotions. Our duty is to observe it.
When at school, we learnt a lot of things about the outside world.
Now we are learning about ourselves.
Practicing ourselves. When eyes see the form, do we get carried away by it?
When ears hear sound, Nose smells odour, is there any mental formation created?
When tongue tastes a food, are any mental formations created for example delicious or not delicious, like or dislike?
Is your mind neutral?
For example, bad smells, some do not like but some can stand it.
Even nice smells, don’t fall for it.
Many are in suffering because they can't find peace
especially, they keep following their desires.
Craving for these, craving for those, when it can't be fulfilled, then they feel suffered.
Craving will lead to suffering. Is it better to cease the craving?
Wishing you happiness, auspiciousness, completeness and fruitfulness in both spiritual and material wealth.
