⚽❤️🖤 SMALL BOOTS, BIG DREAMS!

Every footballing journey starts somewhere… 🌟

Before the packed stadiums, the professional contracts and the wonder goals, there’s a young player taking their first touches of a football. ⚽

And that’s where grassroots football comes in! 🙌

Here at Thistle FC, our Soccer 7s youngsters are keeping the football rolling while our older age groups enjoy their off-season! 🔴⚫

But for us, it’s about so much more than kicking a ball about…

⚽ Building confidence
🤝 Making lifelong friendships
💪 Learning teamwork and respect
😂 Having fun and making memories
❤️ Developing a love for the beautiful game

Not every child will grow up to play professionally, and that’s absolutely fine!

Because grassroots football isn’t just about developing footballers. It’s about developing young people. ❤️

Every professional footballer was once a youngster with a ball at their feet and a dream in their head.

🌟 WHO KNOWS WHERE THEIR JOURNEY MIGHT TAKE THEM?

💬 Does your little one love football? Or are you looking to get them involved in a local grassroots club?

📩 Drop Thistle FC a message to find out more about opportunities to get involved!

⚽❤️🖤 WHERE DID YOUR LOVE OF FOOTBALL BEGIN?

We all remember where it started… 👇

⚽ Kicking a ball about in the street until it was too dark to see?

🥅 Jumpers for goalposts and arguing whether it was actually a goal?

🌧️ Freezing Saturday mornings, muddy pitches and your parents shouting from the sidelines?

🏆 Or scoring that one goal you still talk about 20 years later? 😂

Football has a funny way of creating memories that last a lifetime.

And that’s exactly what grassroots football is all about! ❤️🖤

At Thistle FC, we’re passionate about giving the next generation the opportunity to make those same memories, build friendships and fall in love with the beautiful game.

💬 WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

👇 What’s your earliest or favourite childhood football memory?

Tag your old teammates and let’s hear some stories! 😂⚽
