Well done for doing what you are doing, we are already going through it down In Crowborough in the South of England. We have a population of 22,500 and a quiet rural town which has always been safe, we have several primary schools, a secondary school and pre schools. Our army camp 14 weeks ago was ripped from us, the home office threw put the air and sea cadets and claimed the site for impending unvetted migrant men to be housed. We are almost at 300 occupants already in the 3 weeks they have been bringing them in, thousands have been spent on the site, brand new gym, kitchen, living quarters, table tennis, pool tables etc... They are not contained and are free to roam at will or have taxis at their disposal wherever they want to go..... We are now down as a processing centre which means we will get them direct from the boats..... Please do not be under any illusion it will not be a problem as it will be...... Already a young girl has been touched on a bus, several have been watching schools and making local women uneasy round the streets...... Some Parents have removed their kids from school, women dont want to walk their dogs.....
Our town is scared and you should be too, look around at what is happening to other towns, a 14 yr old girl was r***d by a migrant who was charged for it, only last October and merely 2 towns away from us....... We expect to have thousands over a 12 months period coming in and out...... And the home office has applied for a 3 year extension.
Dont bury your head in the sand..... Get out and protest its the least you can do, you all need to stsnd strong together and unite your community, you will need each other, to keep each other safe as more numbers arrive..... Get cameras put up outside your homes, keep your kids close and all be careful.

If you only do one thing in your life do this "stand up for the safety of your families, your kids and your grandkids" dont turn around one day and say you wish you had tried..... Do it now, do what you can and do it loud

The Highland Council continues to seek information from the Home Office regarding the use of Cameron Barracks, Inverness, to temporarily accommodate up to 300 adult male asylum seekers.

There has been a number of social media posts in recent days suggesting asylum seekers have already arrived at the site. This is incorrect. The current information we have from the Home Office is that feasibility assessments are ongoing and no final decision has been made.

We'll share any key updates here: https://www.highland.gov.uk/info/917/housing/1160/asylum
