As part of our Local Superhero activity badge, today we welcomed a special visitor. Gavin spoke to the squirrels about being a firefighter and what to do if they need to call the emergency services. Squirrels had lots of questions and enjoyed trying on the firefighting clothing. Thank you Gavin 🚒🐿️

Squirrels were learning about real Superhero’s yesterday. They drew pictures of their own superhero’s then practised a fire drill and thought of some questions for a special visitor coming next week 🐿️

It was great to get back to Squirrels after the holidays. Today we made insect habitats for our gardens. The squirrels really took their time and thought about what to put into their tins before choosing stickers to decorate them 🦟🐞🕷️🐿️

On our final night of the term the squirrels had a go at archery and axe throwing! It’s hard to believe that’s the end of the first year of Kirkhill Squirrels already, what an action packed year it has been! We hope you have a lovely summer break and we’ll see you all again after the holidays ☀️🐿️
