What a day at Dores Beach! 🌊❄️

The weather was certainly on the chilly/windy side, but that didn't stop a group of brave people from heading into the waters of Loch Ness for their baptisms and a public declaration of their faith.

With cold winds, cold water, but warm support from our King's family, it was a memorable afternoon. As Chris encouraged on Sunday, please keep all those baptised in your prayers as they continue into this week.

We are SO excited to welcome environmental scientist, ethical influencer, TV commentator & award-winning climate activist “Less Waste Laura” for what promises to be a fascinating, honest & hope-filled evening.

Laura will be sharing her personal faith journey and talking about what it’s like being a Christian working in the worlds of media, politics & climate activism — spaces that can often feel incredibly challenging, divisive & high pressure.

Together we’ll be exploring questions like:

✨ What does the Bible actually say about caring for creation?

✨ How should Christians respond to the climate emergency?

✨ Can faith genuinely shape the way we live, work & influence society?

✨ How do we stay gracious, hopeful & grounded in a polarised world?

Whether you’re passionate about climate issues, curious about faith, interested in politics & media, or simply wanting to hear an inspiring story of someone trying to follow Jesus in public life — this evening is for you.

It’s going to be thoughtful, practical, challenging, encouraging & full of great conversation.

Our prayer space opens at 10am tomorrow morning. If you have a free moment over the weekend we encourage you to pop by and make use of the space. Open to anyone, if you are a regular at King’s or your not, it’s for anyone who wants an area to ‘be’ in God’s presence for stillness, reflections and inspiration.
