Our club recently had the pleasure of visiting beautiful Kraków, where, together with Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Idar-Oberstein in Germany, we were warmly hosted by Rotary Klub Kraków Wawel. ❤️
We spent a few truly incredible days discovering the beauty, history, and unique atmosphere of Kraków, while enjoying wonderful fellowship with Rotarians from Poland and Germany.
During our visit, we explored the Main Market Square, visited the historic Sukiennice Market Hall, and listened to the famous St. Mary’s Trumpet Call. We also discovered Kraków’s historic centre, as well as the Kazimierz and Podgórze districts, during a fun electric buggy ride.
Our programme also included visits to the magnificent Wawel Royal Castle and the beautiful Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, the oldest existing monastery in Poland, beautifully located by the Vistula River.
It was a memorable time filled with friendship, culture, history, and the true spirit of Rotary International fellowship.
A heartfelt thank you to Rotary Klub Kraków Wawel for your warm welcome, generous hospitality, and for making our stay in Kraków so special. ❤️
Thank you also to our wonderful Rotarian Aleksandra Czech-Seklecka for beautifully documenting our visit through her photographs. 📸❤️
