So as everyone will be aware, this year's Culloden ceilidh was our final one after 10 years. We have previously announced the total sum raised and here we have a picture of young Lucas accepting the cheque for the Lochgilphead Celtic and Pictish Festival 2026, we couldn't be there in person so his dad took a picture whilst he held the cheque. Thank you all once again for taking part in our events over the years, whether at just 1 or at all of them, much appreciated.

Here's the news you've all been waiting for, the final tally for what was raised on Saturday night after expenses paid.

Our highest amount ever to date was £3600 approx which we believe was 2 years ago.

This year we have now surpassed that to come away with a final total of........... £3,760.89p.

This year we were fundraising for Lochgilphead Celtic and Pictish Festival

We would like to thank everyone who did indeed dig deep.

Cliff Serbie paid £900 for a collection of Scottish James V1 & 1. All dating from around 1605.

Kim Kibble bought the Claverhouse book, for £600.

Debra Brown Johnson bought the Jacobite song book for £150.

Cliff bought the tablet for £50.

Did we go out with a bang,?

We think so, a few things different and a few new faces and some regulars missing.

We hope you have all enjoyed the events we put on for the past 10 years as much as we have.

As announced on the night, we were approached on the Saturday morning by someone about potentially continuing the event so we will wait to see how that plays out. If it does go ahead, we will help them out and would hope everyone that has come to our event over the years would also continue as that way we can all still meet up.

So if someone does take it on, please support them, we will.

Kind regards
