What a day! 🤩

Today we were invited to the Crofts Estate Agents Youth Football League - Grimsby Presentation, where we collected our trophies!

Double champions across both the Festival Event and the Champions League Trophy Event. We couldn’t be prouder of this team! 💙

After the presentation, we headed back to the pub for some well-earned pizzas and chips, and to celebrate with photos of our amazing trophy haul from this season.

That’s some cabinet we’re building! 👏🏆

🏆 Appleby Frodingham Cup Winners! 🏆

What a difference a week makes!

The boys were outstanding today, finishing top of our group unbeaten and heading into the knockout stages full of confidence. A tense semi-final saw the lads dig deep and pull it out of the bag, earning their place in the final.

The final was a nail-biter that went all the way to penalties! Our No.1 was absolutely immense, saving 2 of the 5 penalties and leading the team to a fantastic cup victory. 👏⚽

A special mention goes to Ali, our Player of the Day, for his hard work, fantastic attitude, and determination throughout the tournament. Well deserved! ⭐

So proud of every single player today. The teamwork, effort, and resilience on display were brilliant to see.

🏆 Today’s Catenaccio Tournament 🏆

A slow start for the team today, and we definitely weren’t at our best. We narrowly missed out on the Champions League competition, but the boys showed great character and finished the day by winning the Europa League! 🏅⚽

Well done to all the teams involved for a fantastic tournament.

Last league match for Pilgrims as U8s! What a season it’s been ⚽️

Going from being unbeaten at U7s to playing a year up from Christmas and competing in the top U8s league was never going to be easy, but this team has risen to every challenge thrown at them. They topped it all off today with an absolute banger of a game against Discoveries Phantoms! 🙌

We’re so proud of how hard they all worked, battled right until the end, and showed just how far they’ve come this season. 💚

Coach’s Player of the Day goes to the full team, because every single one of them deserves it! 👏🏆

Immingham Pilgrims U7s at ESF Festival of Football Butlins Skegness! ⚽🏆

What a weekend for our little Pilgrims to remember. So much fun, brilliant teamwork, big smiles, and memories made on and off the pitch. Every player gave their all and did the club proud. 💚

A fantastic experience for the team, coaches, and families, one we won’t forget anytime soon. Well done, Pilgrims! 👏⚽

Easter Sunday league action for Immingham Pilgrims U7s against Discoveries Explorers U7s 🐣⚽

A great game against a fellow U7s side also competing in the U8s league. It was a very close match with plenty of excellent football played by both teams 👏

🌟 Coaches Player of the Match: Jaxon – pulled off some fantastic saves and showed great bravery in goal to keep the team in the game 🧤

🌟 Parents Player of the Match: Leyton – showed brilliant pace and determination on the wing, constantly creating chances and supporting the attack ⚡

Wednesday saw us travel to Clee Fields to take on Discoveries Lions U8s. Despite being a couple of players short, the team were outstanding, showing great effort and teamwork to secure a fantastic result. 💪⚽

Today we faced Discoveries Phantoms U8s in tough conditions with wind and rain. It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, with some tired and cold faces out there, but full credit to the opposition who played brilliantly. 👏

Players of the Day, chosen by parents and coaches, were Hamzah, Tommy, and Jaxon! Well done all! 🌟

Immingham Pilgrims U7s vs Discoveries Galacticos U8s

A tough match today for our little Pilgrims. We weren’t quite at our best, but the effort and determination were there from start to finish.

By the third quarter it looked like we were going to pull it back, and the belief was building… but it just wasn’t our day.

Special mention to Tommy G playing against his old team 👏 He worked like an absolute machine, never stopped running, never gave up, and fought for every single ball. A performance full of heart and grit, which is why he deservedly picked up both Parents’ Player and Coaches’ Player 🌟

Proud of the whole team for soldiering on and showing real character.
