On Sunday, Sophie Woodard completed one of the hardest challenges — taking on a run in that heat and those hills 🥵🏃🏻‍♀️ — all to raise money for ROTAA in Adam’s memory 💚

We honestly couldn’t be prouder. Raising an incredible £1,180 for ROTAA, which means so much to our whole family.

Seeing people come together to support something being created in Adam’s memory is emotional in ways we can’t really explain, but also incredibly exciting because things are slowly starting to come together and we truly hope ROTAA will go on to make a real difference to others 💚

Sophie — thank you. For pushing yourself, for doing something so tough, and for supporting ROTAA in Adam’s memory. We are so grateful.

And to everyone who has donated, supported and encouraged her along the way — thank you so much.

If anybody else would still like to donate and support ROTAA, please feel free to get in touc

A huge thank you to Kevin Muckersie and Tracey Muckersie, Kevin Kneeshaw and Maria Kneeshaw Norris, Donyatt Football Club, all the beautiful peeps and companies that donated raffle prizes for the raffle and last but certainly not least Sophie Woodard for hosting such a brilliant bingo night at The Shrubbery in support of ROTAA. It was an incredible evening and together we raised an amazing £520 👏

Things are really starting to come together now. It’s been a long time coming, but watch this space… our vision is still very real and all wheels will be in motion very soon 💫

🎉 BINGO NIGHT FOR ROTAA 🎉

As you may know Sophie Woodard is taking on the Great West Run Half Marathon on Sunday 24th May 🏃‍♀️ to raise money for ROTAA — a non-profit we’re setting up in memory of our Adam 💛

As part of this, and together with Donyatt Football Club, she is also hosting a Bingo Night to raise money for both the team and ROTAA — and we’d love as many people there as possible.

26th April - eyes down at 6.30pm - shrubbery hotel, Ilminster

It’s set to be a really good night with prizes, laughs, and a chance to come together for two great causes.

ROTAA itself has taken a little longer to get off the ground than we’d hoped. Between life, emotions, and a few unexpected hurdles with the registration process, it’s slowed things down at times — but we are now so close to the finish line.

Once everything is finalised, it will be all systems go to start helping people, all in Adam’s memory — exactly what this is all about.

Thank you so much for all the support so far and for your patience with the process 💛

We can’t wait to see you there

Quick question for everyone 💬

When you’re struggling or having a low day, what actually helps you?
Could be something small, a habit, a person, a song, a walk — anything.

You never know who might need your answer today 💚

ROTAA has never been forgotten — even when life got heavy and quiet.
So many of you showed incredible generosity and belief at the start, and I want you to know the vision has always stayed with us.

2026 will be the year ROTAA truly takes off. I’ve made space, I’ve found my footing again, and I’m ready to go full force to turn this into something that genuinely makes a difference.

This is for anyone struggling. This is about alternatives, escape, healing, and hope.
And most of all, this is for Adam.

Adam, I hope I can make you proud of what we build in your memory.
Watch this space 🤍

An Update from the Heart 💚

As we approach a year since losing our beloved Adam, we’ve been reflecting deeply — not just on the pain of his absence, but on the purpose we’ve been trying to build in his memory.

In the months following his passing, we shared our plans to start a charity called ROTAA – Reach Out to Adam’s Alternatives. Our vision has always been to create something that could support others struggling with their mental health — by offering access to alternative therapies that go beyond the traditional routes. We believe in the power of connection, creativity, nature, movement — and creating space for people to heal in their own way.

Thanks to your generosity and support, we’ve already raised an incredible amount of money. We are so deeply grateful for that — and because of that, we also feel the need to say something openly:

We know time has passed, and we know some people may be quietly wondering where things are at. The truth is, we hoped to be further along by now too. But the past year has been heavy. Grief is not linear, and life hasn’t made things easy. We’ve been doing our best to navigate the loss, while also holding onto this vision for ROTAA.

So we just want to say this: it’s still happening. ROTAA is still very much alive. The purpose behind it has never faded — if anything, it’s become even stronger. We’re still working on it, and we’re committed to doing it right — for Adam, and for everyone this charity will go on to support.

Thank you for your patience, your faith in us, and your belief in what ROTAA stands for. We’ll hopefully be sharing more soon.

Hey beautiful peeps 👋
Sooooo just another post to say wheels are still in motion….slower than what I would like but there’s more involved to officially set it all up than I thought 🙈
Good news is we already have raised just over £2100 for the charity!! An amazing start for all the plans we have to introduce alternative therapies to all in need 😍
We have some fantastic fund raising events in mind so keep your eyes peeled.

Firstly thank you to everyone who has donated so far, I would like to apologise for going so quiet in regard to Adam’s charity. After his funeral and navigating a ‘new normal’ we all just needed a minute. The logistics of getting everything set up officially felt like more than the brain could cope with. After what has felt like the hardest Christmas ever we are all keen to turn things around and start thinking about all the positives that could come out of such a heartbreaking situation. Getting ourselves stuck into making these positive opportunities in Adam’s memory feels like just the medicine we all need.
So join this page, we will keep you posted on all things going on behind the scenes, all opportunities available, all fund raising events and generally all things positive that we hope to achieve.
