Equine assisted learning helps people of all ages with all forms of Learning Difficulties, mental health problems and helping with disabled people. EAL is also used to help guide young people with behaviour problems that maybe it's not that their fellow colleagues or elders don't understand or not want to hear
what they have to say but maybe they are communicationg in a way they can be misunderstood. The horses are very efficient in this lesson as they can only give what the human wants if asked properly with the right amount of direction and energy,which in turn helps with attitude and thoughtfulness. Equine Assisted Learning can also be used as a stress buster as to work with the horses we need to try to let go of all emotions we have at the time and be focused on the horse and the task question as this a big part of getting to get the horse to behave as you wish.This helps with letting go of old depressions and negative emotions that the client brings with them to the centre on the day.
