Burley in Wharfedale Community Well Being Garden.
Last May a team of us began work to create a Well Being Garden in the grounds of Grange Park Surgery. We have had support from many people and organisations. On Saturday at 10am we are having an informal gathering to 'open' the garden to thank all those who have helped. This is a community garden for people to enjoy. Come and see the difference! Everyone is welcome.

The weather has been so gloomy over the last few weeks. Despite this, the Parsley in the herb garden is holding up and is ready for picking. We'll get going in the early spring with sowing seeds but until then, enjoy the Parsley.

The John Squire bench is now in situ in the Community Well Being garden. In the next few weeks we plan to install the water feature. We have a shopping list of plants: climbers, fragrant shrubs, perennials and bulbs (costs range from £3 to £50). We have had some very generous donations but are still a little short.
