From today (1 April 2026), you can add a few more items to your kerbside recycling.

Tetra Paks (like orange juice and milk cartons) and crisp tubes (such as Pringles) will now be accepted. Simply flatten and pop them in your brown recycling bag with the rest of your recycling.

📖 If you haven't yet had your say on the future of Ilfracombe (and Devon's) library services, the online consultation is open until 22nd February, so there's still time! It only takes 5 minutes to complete - link below.

For anyone who can't complete it online, Terry Elliott will have a stall on Ilfracombe High Street (near the Arches) with the copies of the library consultation available for people to complete on Wednesday 3rd of February from 10 am to 12 pm.

You can find more information about the proposed changes on the Ilfracombe Library and Ilfracombe Town Council pages.

We are inviting you to give your views on the proposed changes to the library service and any alternatives you may wish to propose.
