What amazing colours we can create!!

I’ve made sunshine ☀️ , Blue and Yellow make green - I’ve the best colour robot 🤖 you’ve ever seen - I’ve made brown!!

Manipulating colours magical swirls; learning new art techniques - using our fine motor skills - we could play messy play all day!! Self-expression, sensational colour creativity such a delight!! 🎨

We’re so happy to be back at our amazing Pre-School after our Easter Break 🖌🖍🎨🌼!!

Lots of Easter Fun for the children this week. They enjoyed a tea ☕️ party 🎉 with fine china based around a Montessori Practical Life Activity - developing practical life skills, etiquette, being social etc. They had fun making their own sandwiches 🥪- fine motor skills/making their own choices. Pouring a cuppa was filled with great excitement!
We had an adventurous Easter 🐣 Hunt outdoors too. 🐣🐣🐣🐣

Over the last five years, ZooLab has raised over £5,000 towards rhino tracking equipment and the protection of rhinos.

Many staff members have also volunteered their time at Mankwe Wildlife Reserve, which aims to protect rhinos in South Africa.

What a privilege to give the children their first experience of a professional
drama 🧒🏽👩‍🦱lesson!!

Delight on their faces they meet - becoming the characters from stories sharing ideas, imagination, dancing on tip toe - 🧸🥁🎭 moving their feet.

So rewarding watching the childrens’ confidence grow, finding expression in movement/drama performance - we entered the magical world of our very own ‘Toy Story Show!! 👫🌟

Annabel one of our parents - shared her inspirational drama skills - encouraging the children to experiment with communicating through physical gestures and facial expression - WOW, thank you for such a totally amazing drama session 🎭
