NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool (UHL) Group: 2030 Big Conversation Event

You’re invited to UHL 2030 Big Conversation – helping shape changes in healthcare

Healthwatch Knowsley, working in partnership with NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool (UHL) Group, is inviting patients, carers and members of the public to take part in a Big Conversation Patient and Public Engagement Session. UHL Group includes:

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospital)
Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust

The UHL Group 2030 Strategy rethinks how and where care is delivered to improve the health and quality of life of people across the Liverpool City Region. Through this Big Conversation, we want to hear directly from the people of Knowsley so that local insight, experiences and priorities help shape future changes and improvements.

This event is an opportunity for local people to share their views on how our hospitals can continue to improve the care they provide, the experience of patients and families, and how services work more closely with local communities.

Illnesses such as measles and whooping cough can be serious. Vaccinating your child can help protect them and others. To check if they are missing any vaccines, look in their red book or speak to your GP practice.

Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Coffee Morning
We are inviting residents to join us for an informal coffee morning to talk about heart health. We want to hear your views on what makes it easier or harder to use local services that help prevent heart disease and stroke – this may include services such as NHS Health Checks, blood pressure or cholesterol checks, or other support to help people keep their hearts healthy.

We also would like to hear your views on what could be done to improve these services. Your experiences and ideas will help shape the local plan for preventing heart disease and stroke, so that services work better for older people in our community. Anything you share will be kept anonymous and only general themes from the discussion will be used. We hope to see you there and look forward to hearing your views over a cup of tea or coffee.
