EEZIFEEDER are donating one of their feeders to a local charity (Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset). We dont need one but thought we'd share here to see if another charity could benefit. To nominate you just need to tag your chosen charity in the comments of EEZIFEEDER's original post (below). Here are some suggestions of charities we know of: Racehorse Rehoming Centre - Registered Charity, Hampshire Spirit Horse Rescue, World Horse Welfare Glenda Spooner Farm, Margaret Green Animal Rescue, The Mare and Foal Sanctuary, The Donkey Sanctuary

We've started our 2nd block of 'The future of Horsmanship Academy' sessions where the students have been thinking about building positive relationships with the horses, and how to make deposits into that 'relationship piggy bank'. Here's what they came up with;
🐴 Respect the horse's boundaries.
🐴 Don't force the horse through a situation they're not comfortable with.
🐴 Be gentle and calm.
🐴 Don't push them too much.
🐴 Reward them when doing the right thing.
Calm approach.
🐴 Give them a pat for doing well.
🐴 Saying good boy/girl.

What an amazing group of students who are developing an understanding of great horsemanship.

Thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund and Pets Foundation for funding these invaluable sessions.
