Working together to make Alconbury Weald a wonderful place to live We have monthly meetings to discuss the development and events we'd like to hold.

Alconbury Weald Community Association is a not for profit organisation working towards providing local events and activities for local residents. We are run by committee of volunteers and funded by way of grants and self-funding. All monies raised are used running costs and towards future events and activities.

Our Heritage and Family Fun Day is just around the corner. All new food trucks, old fashioned sweet stall, kids entertainment as well as a flyover, military exhibition and heritage talks. There will also be live music throughout the day. Would be amazing to see loads of you there supporting our local businesses and history.

Registration closes at 9pm tonight! Sign up now for free before time runs out!

Taking part is what matters, you don't need to be a scarecrow making expert or have any skills beyond a willingness to get involved!

📅 Runs between 19-27th September
🏅 Prizes for the most popular scarecrows (first, second and third prizes).
🌾 A bale of straw is provided for all entrants

We are so excited for our Heritage and Family Fun Day, on Saturday 12th September. This year, as well as all new food trucks ranging from katsu curry to hot dogs and candyfloss, we also have an exciting range of entertainment and activities including the opportunity to meet some exotic animals! We also have brand new music performers. More details to be released over the coming weeks, keep an eye on our page for some sneak peaks of what's to come on the day 😀

If you can't wait until midday, we are delighted to be welcoming the wonderful Blackboard Markets to the pavillion from half 8, selling a range of locally sourced products from bread and cakes to cheese, meat, eggs and sweet treats! We are so proud to be putting on an amazing day of events right here on the Weald and we can't wait to see loads of you there!

It is just over three weeks to go until our Heritage Day and Family Fun Day, part of Huntingdonshire's Heritage Open Days Programme.

This year as well as heritage events and tours organised by we have a packed day of food, fun and activities including garden games, face painting, hair braiding, a mini zoo, candyfloss and all new food trucks 😋😋😋😋😋 we cant wait to see you all there!

We are still recruiting people to join our panel and take part in fresh fruit taste testing at the AMFRESH site in Alconbury Weald! 🍇🍓🍊

You’ll be some of the first people to try the freshest fruit, share your opinions and get paid for taking part. You may even be lucky enough to receive some free fruit to take home alongside your points!
