☀️ WEEK 3 OF SUMMER CAMP ☀️

Another brilliant week at Rise in Unity! 🙌

Week 3 has been packed with activities, laughter, new experiences and plenty of opportunities for our young people to build confidence, make friends and have fun. 💙

From sports and games to creative activities and time spent together, it’s been great seeing everyone getting involved and enjoying themselves.

We can’t believe we’re heading into our final week already! 🥹

A huge thank you to all the young people who have made Week 3 another fantastic one, and to our team for keeping the energy going every day! 👏

Another successful week of our HAF Summer Camp! 🌞💙

What an amazing week we’ve had, filled with laughter, new experiences and young people stepping outside their comfort zones.

🎤 Some of our young people found the confidence to sing karaoke in front of everyone.

🥋 We even had one young person take part in martial arts who, at the start of summer, wouldn’t even look inside the dojo. A huge achievement!

A special mention to Foxy, who leads our martial arts sessions with such enthusiasm. He has a fantastic way of motivating young people while teaching them important life skills such as discipline, respect, resilience and confidence. He also got the young people working hard in the gym with some personal training sessions! 💪

🎨 Our wonderful Dee kept everyone creative by helping the young people make and paint their own clay models, which they absolutely loved.

🏉 We were also lucky enough to receive tickets from the Kirklees HAF Team to watch the Huddersfield Giants. For many of our young people, it was their first rugby match and a brilliant opportunity to experience something completely new.

At Rise in Unity, it’s about so much more than keeping children occupied during the holidays. It’s about building confidence, creating opportunities, encouraging healthy lifestyles and making memories that last.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, the Kirklees HAF Team and all of our incredible young people for another fantastic week.

🌞 Summer Camp Week 1 🌞

What a fantastic start to our summer programme! 💙

From preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals 🥗, to taking part in our fire drill and learning how to stay safe 🚒, every day is packed with opportunities to learn, build confidence and have fun.

We’re so proud of how our young people have worked together, supported one another and got involved in every activity.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who make it all possible.

It’s fantastic to see the impact the TRU Community Fund has had across our community. 🎥

This video showcases the wide range of organisations that received funding, including Rise in Unity CIC, and the positive difference it has made. We’re incredibly grateful to have been supported to create our new kitchen, giving us another fantastic space to help young people develop life skills, enjoy healthy meals and feel part of our community.

What a couple of weeks it’s been at our Easter Camp 🙌

We brought young people together here at Rise in Unity to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy themselves in a safe and supportive environment.

From self-defence and sports to creativity and volunteering, it’s been great to see everyone getting involved and making the most of it 💪

🐣 Easter Holiday Camp (HAF) 🐣

Looking for something fun for the kids during the Easter holidays?

Join us for our Easter HAF Camp where young people can enjoy a range of activities in a safe, friendly and active environment.

Activities include martial arts, team games, gaming consoles, pool tables, VR, board games and more.

🍽 Food provided each day with hot and cold meal options available. Meals can be adapted for different dietary needs – just include requirements when completing the booking form.

📅 Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the Easter holidays
⏰ 12:00 – 16:00
📍 Ground Control BJJ / Rise in Unity Youth Hub

💰 Free for young people eligible for free school meals (HAF funded)
💰 £10 per day for those not eligible
