Thank you to the great team who gave up a couple of hours tonight to collect for the rotary club
As well as the leaders, Bryony, Gemma, Jenny, mark , Leslie and Matt, we had great support from a few of our older scouts. Really helped to collect a massive amount for some great causes.

And another year, another great 1st north Sutton Christmas camp. Lots of great activities, made for a non stop weekend. Great food, with the usual full Christmas dinner last night. Thank you to all the young people who shared the weekend. And thank you to all the leaders who gave up their weekends to help run a great weekend. Time to get those showers running, and washing machines on.

Beneath a sky of winter’s cheer,
A festive sign says “Christmas near!”
A tree adorned with lights aglow,
Stands ready for the season’s show.

Along Stayton Road the Scouts prepare,
With evergreens and frosty air.
From morn till afternoon they’ll stand,
With warm hearts lending helping hands.

Each tree you choose, each smile you bring,
Helps young adventurers learn and spring—
For every penny, every note,
Keeps dreams afloat with hope and hope.

So mark the day, don’t miss the call—
At Scout Hall waits the joy of all.
For Christmas starts where kindness grows,
And giving lights the season’s glow.

🎄 Christmas Trees in Sutton 🎄

For the 1st North Sutton Scouts — Saturday 29th November

In Sutton town the season’s near,
The air is crisp, the skies are clear,
And Scouts prepare with joy and cheer—
It’s Christmas tree time once again!

On Saturday, the twenty-ninth,
The firs arrive in fragrant ranks,
A forest lined in tidy banks,
Awaiting homes to make them bright.

The 1st North Sutton Scouts stand tall,
With smiles warm as winter’s shawl,
To greet each neighbor, one and all,
And help you choose the perfect tree.

From tiny spruces, sweet and small,
To towering pines that fill a hall—
There’s one for every heart that calls
For Christmas magic, fresh and green.

So come along, don’t miss the day,
Let festive spirit lead the way;
Your tree—and memories—await
At the Scouts’ bright Christmas holiday.
