💖 Welcome to Clart About Cancer Care 💖
In August 2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Like so many people who hear those words, it felt as though my whole world had been turned upside down. Overnight, life became filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless questions. It was one of the most challenging times of my life, and it made me realise just how important support, understanding, and community truly are.

As the founder of Clart About LTD and Clart About Sensory Cafe, I have seen firsthand how much our venue means to local families. It is a place built on compassion, connection, and inclusion — and I believe it has the potential to become a safe and supportive space for those affected by cancer across Consett and the surrounding areas.

That is why we are launching Clart About Cancer Care. To support families in the Consett and surrounding areas.

Our aim is to provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis. Whether it is offering a listening ear, creating opportunities to connect with others who understand, or providing a welcoming space where people can simply take a breath, we want no one to feel they are facing cancer alone.

This project comes from a very personal place in my heart. I know how overwhelming a diagnosis can be, not only for the person affected but for their loved ones too.

My hope is that together, as a community, we can create something truly meaningful that brings comfort, hope, and support when it is needed most.

To make this vision a reality, we will be fundraising and seeking the support of our wonderful community. With your help, we can build a service that reaches and supports as many people as possible during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Your kindness, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express.

Together, we can ensure that no family in our community faces cancer alone. 💗
