Sending HUGS 🤗

Wishing Lucy Davis, Jasper Carrott and their whole family well as they face an incredibly difficult time together.

Lucy, best known to millions as Dawn Tinsley in The Office, recently revealed that she is living with incurable stage four breast cancer. She said she was diagnosed around a year and a half ago and that the cancer has spread to her bones, including her spine, right hip and ribs.

Her dad Jasper has now spoken publicly about what the family has been going through.

“This is a very difficult time for the whole family and we have been supporting her in every way possible since her diagnosis,” he said.

He added: “We are so proud of our daughter and love her so much. The way she has conducted herself through many traumatic health issues is a lesson to us all.”

Jasper also said the family remain “very hopeful for her future being what she wants it to be” and thanked people for their love and concern while asking for some privacy.

Lucy herself has spoken with remarkable openness about the diagnosis. She said she is trying to live whatever time she has left “in as fun a way as I possibly can” and has even asked her friends and family to keep making fun of her rather than treat her as someone who is ill.

She has also said she hopes to continue acting, describing it as one of the biggest joys in her life, while carrying on her work for animal rights.

Lucy has already faced more than her fair share of health problems over the years, including receiving a kidney transplant from her mother in 1997.

Sending Lucy, Jasper and all of their family every good wish as they navigate this together.

Hi all

Just a quick update regarding Emma’s oldest child.

He is still unfortunately very poorly. But we do have a diagnosis and a treatment plan 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Hopefully in the coming weeks he will be back to normal and Emma will be back to her usual busyness đź’•đź’•

Lovely feedback đź’•đź’•Lovely messages like this remind us why we do what we do.

Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet lately. Emma’s oldest child has been unwell and in and out of hospital last month or so.
He’s still there unfortunately so Emma hasn’t been as active in posting.

We’re still here though giving out HUGs to those who need them!
