Southwater Young at Heart Young at Heart is a community group for over 60s, meeting weekly during term time for friendship, craft activities, low impact games and occasional meals.

The page will advertise weekly activities and include pictures of past activities.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all keen to see what YAH will be up to in January. This week we kick things off with board games, then on 23rd Jan we will be playing Boccia together and finally making some more Mandela stones on 30th. As always see our page in the Parish News for my contact details for more info about the group etc.

This November we have decorated diaries for next year using the Mandela dotting technique, and this week we made advent light up houses. The next 2 weeks see us at Newbridge Nurseries and then out for Christmas Lunch. We finish off December with a games of skittles on 12th and a further Christmas craft afternoon with festive refreshments on 19th.

Some of the crystal art coasters we made on 23rd May. On 6th June we will visit the flower festival at HI, then it's boccia on 13th June. We will re-start crafting on 20th with Mandela stone painting and velvet art cards on 27th.
